About me

My name is Fildzah Zata, a curious UI/UX designer with more than two years of experience in crafting user-friendly HRIS software solutions, complemented by over a year of background in industrial product design and craftsmanship.

My journey into the world of UX design was sparked during my time in design school when I discovered Joseph Joseph's kitchenware products, my interest in the UX design field started. I am amazed by their way of thinking in solving problems in the kitchen through their products. Since then, I've been passionate about improving lives through design.

My aspirations lead me towards the education technology sector, a field I've been captivated by since my high school days. My goal is to make a meaningful impact through design in this space, contributing to the advancement of educational experiences for learners worldwide.

Learn to design,
Design to learn

I learned design through books, boot camp, workshops, and discussions with seniors, the product team, the developer's team, and mentors. I am constantly learning new things about design in my spare time.

Fail hard, fail often. I believe that the key to understanding design is that it is a process that takes time to work through. Sometimes I look at my finished projects in my portfolio to see the work behind them. All of the revisions, drafts, and tears that help me to reach the final piece.

In my opinion, everyone has a different journey when designing and creating a product. I realized that everyone has a unique path. We never know what interesting stops people may have made along the way. That's why I like to seek feedback from others because everyone has different perspectives and experiences. Feedback is an opportunity to grow for me, both as a designer and a person.

Play

Outside of design, I love making embroidery stitches and playing with Instax film. Here are some of the embroidery that I made.
